Question by Paul: Cost of unlimited Metro card after rate increase?
I heard that there was a rate increase effective today in NYC on public transportation. I am moving to NYC in June and was wondering what the cost of a monthly unlimited subway card is now?
Feel free to answer in the comment section below

My friend, the $ 2 base subway fare will remain the same, however the unlimited ride Metrocard have increased, effected today March 2, and there are as followed.
1-day Fun Pass $ 7.50 (old price was $ 7)
7-day Pass $ 25 (old price was $ 24)
30-day Pass $ 81 (old price was $ 76)
14-day Pass $ 47 (new)
I hope this information is very helpful. Good luck.

I’ll enclose the new fare of Long Island Railroad/Metro-North Railroad, well as NYC Subway/PATH and Bee-Line bus system fare.
I’ll enclosed the Google Document I created of how you pay your Pay-Per-Ride MetroCard and Unlimited MetroCard.
As part of MTA MetroCard fare hike, Bee-Line increase its fare to $ 2.
Base fare on NYCT buses, subways, MTA Buses, MTA Long Island Bus, NYCT Staten Island Railway, Roosevelt Island Tramway remains $ 2 along with express buses remains $ 5 including Staten Island division of X23/X24 operated by Atlantic Express, Bee-Line BxM4C
Also 7-Day Express Bus Plus, which is accepted on any $ 2 bus/subway in NYC, Long Island Bus, Westchester County bee-Line, and $ 5 express buses remains $ 41.
New toll fare hike begins 3am on March 16th on MTA. I not sure when Port Authority will raise its fare.
