those turkeys do just fine outside, there are many turkey farms with
thousands of birds in my home state pasturing them and they do great
Very well done, Rich. I consider the seasonal aspect of pastured
enterprises a plus. Obviously, we prefer to process on farm as it makes
little sense to relinquish control at its most critical point. As you well
know, a bad experience at the butcher invariably means a diminished
product. Hope you’ll come out for a visit sometime.

Do they have any problems with hawks predating the birds?

those are the wrong type of turkey’s to fool around with outside. id
probably change breeds if i was them
