toxicity in the inks is not an issue anymore, due to non-toxic ink made from starch material.
All types of paper and cardboard, whether printed on or not, should not be added to the compost, for the simple reason of the chemicals used in making the paper and cardboard, and the toxicity of the printing inks, which are all contaminants, the molecules of which will adversely affect any food ultimately grown in it.
The person in the video should know better!
Wrong….grass does compsot down….doing it for 40 plus yrs and everything compost….faster if you do a “mix of greens and browns” but if it is just grass in the summer and leaves in the fall it all compost. I have three huge piles….summer I throw in all food waste and grass and in the fall I throw in leaves with the food scraps. Ready to use the following year and I work on the last pile for the next year…..everything…. mean everything…compost
Ive heard that you shouldnt use cardboard when it has been printed on like the white cereal box in the video because they inks contain heavy metals. Can anyone confirm this?
dry dog food has meat in it like chicken pork beef. If you only gave an animal vegies and no one gave them any table scraps of meat, then you could use there poop in your compost. hummm you could use your own poop too (I dont suggest this or do I do it) as long as you never consume your meat.

Helpful but so repetitive. I get it, “crumple the paper before I put it in”

you cant compost every thing animal. like poop. some animals eat meat so you can not compost poop from an animal that eats meat.
