I grew a cantaloupe in a pot just to see how it would do. I used patio plus and top soil.

@ThreeEyedTeddyBear It grew ok, but pots require a lot of water since they dry out very easy. I had 1 cantaloupe from the vine. I live in a hot area of Arizona. I am trying the earth buckets now. They help with the watering problem. I have squash growing in earth buckets now. The squash still like the ground better. I planted 30 cantaloupes in front with compost and worms those are doing great. So far the ground still is best.
