  1. I’m so glad you made this video! On a whim I decided to make some apple butter this morning, come canning time I had no idea what to do and I certainly don’t own a pressure canner. This was a big help!

  2. Most sites I’ve been to talk about how you have to have all these items before canning. This video shows you only have to have the basics. Thanks you! (Although I may use a funnel to ladle my product in and a lil less sugar in the recipe. But those are personal choices – I have OCD and I’m not a big fan of sugar. lol)

  4. HFCS is worse … latest info coming out. Google about Fructose vs. Cane Sugar. But, i prefer to make mine with LESS sugar, so it’s not as sweet. That’s the beauty of homemade making how you like. 🙂

  10. This recipe is pretty different from that of Japan. Blueberry Japan made in Japan at home doesn’t require so much sugar.

  12. I find all of the negative comments pretty dang funny considering they are coming from people who are watching a HOW TO video. If you can do it better, then make a video but don’t be anal with your comments…

  15. I have been hesitant about canning because I didn’t have all the equipment, it seems it can be done as long as the seal is made, which it was. Thanks

  19. A friend of mine I just found out cans soup without a canner. She boils and boils and boils the soup, then puts it right into canning jars, puts the lid on it, then after a while, the seals go POP and they are sealed. No extra pots or hot water needed.

  22. Love your video. To the point and very easy to follow. And despite all the warnings from some of the comments, I didn’t die, burn the house down or get possessed in the process! Must be beginners luck.

  23. Ppl this is not a video you should use for this type of canning, I’m not trying to be mean to this girl but there is so many things done wrong in this video it isn’t funny, this is a poor example of how to can this way. Hopefully she has learned from someone with more years of experience and has gotten better in the last couple of years, I’m glad shes so excited and enthusiastic about canning but it is not a video first timers should use as a guideline.
