Can you sell chances to win a mobile home in a drawing or lottery as a way to rid yourself of it? Churches raffle of turkeys and other prizes to raise money. What can private citizen do? Does it have to be for a charity? Is it legal in Nevada or some other place?

    Raffles are games of chance and heavily regulated by the state.

    No charity would partner with you.

  2. if you are trying to “rid yourself of it”, it is probably not worth much. Just cut the price way down to where somebody will want to buy it. If it can not be sold at any price, go to church or Salvation Army or Goodwill store and offer to give it to anyone who wants it.

  3. You will need to have a gaming license to hold a lottery, plus as Tax Lady says, such things are strictly regulated and you will likely be denied a license for a private event that profits yourself.
