Question by Emma: Can-Should I raise a baby duck or chick this summer? How should I prepare?
I have nothing to do this summer, and its my last in my home town. Im 17 years old and I have a good home for a baby chick or baby duck. I had a baby raccoon when I was little and it was a great experience.

Im just wondering if a baby duck or chick is more suitable for a suburban backyard environment…where I would take the animal when it is full grown, and when that might be.

Thanks for all help and advice!

  1. make sure when ur new baby arrivwe you have a box ready for them with a (100 watts red flood light) and hover the light 2 feet away from then so you wont burn themn bc they need warmth
Make sure you go 2 a track and feed store and buy (quick grow pellets) as thier food
And a water bowl they could reach
Have fun w/ ur new babys
