Question by Fiore: Can I feed my 7 month old chicken?
Hi. I was feeding my baby blended veggies and chicken for 2 months but the Dr. told me to stop. She said it could cause allergies later on in life. Is this true? I know I ate meat from the age of 4 months and I don’t have allergies!

What do you think? Answer below!

  2. That’s odd, children over 6 months should be able to eat most foods without issues. As long as there isn’t a bone I honestly don’t see why not.

This says not to start children with meat until they are 8-9 months though

  3. The paranoia over allergies is scary nowadays…

All 3 of my sons had chicken from when they could eat pureed food and they all love it now. None are allergic. I had it, my sisters, cousins, etc. No chicken allergies! If we avoided giving our babies everything that we were told to avoid, due to allergy worries (EXCLUDING peanuts, avoid those!!!) then they’d be eating bread… Unless it has wheat in, they might be allergic to that lol!

  5. Yes, you can feed your 7 month old chicken. Try chicken feed or worms or grain pellets. What breed of chicken do you have? That makes a big difference on whether or not you feed them during the seventh month.

    Good luck!
