It was a kit the pipes come it two sections all bent. Search hoop houses on ebay the company sells on there or direct from them.
I’m not sure what to think, time will tell I guess. There are a couple of factors at play of course not only the colder weather but the shortening days and a lot of plants react to the lack of light as much as the cold weather. A lot of the crops that I just transplanted in there are very cold tolerant so I think it should be ok temperature wise through most of November.
Wow, Dale that is a large hoop house. Should give you lots of space to grow all kinds of things. How late in the year do you think you’ll be able to grow in there? Very nice. Looked fairly simple to construct too.
Regards, Gary
Yes it’s a great size I know I’m going to love it. Planting in there today. I just posted the same video but with the Flight of the Bumble Bee music added check it out, it’s a hoot.
Thank Brendan I know what you mean but I hope I will be satisfied with this for a few years. Very pleased with the results so far. Building a raised bed and planting seedlings today hope to post another video tonight or tomorrow.
Thank you. Actually the weather has been the pits that’s why it took almost 3 week to build so much rain. Right now it is like a sauna in there the ground is still saturated with water. I will post a video tonight or tomorrow with more of the hoop house. I have 2 benches each 8 feet long on one wall the rest will be raised beds and some space for a few large growpots. Just finished building the first raised bed 16X4 and I’m about to plant my seedlings in it.
Thanks Eric. I’m building the first raised bed and planting seedlings in there today and taking some video to add to clips that I’ve taken over the past month. Unfortunately it will be a longish video but I hope to post it tonight or tomorrow.
Brilliant! That’s about the same size as my greenhouse so you’ll have lots of space until you wonder where all the space went to…LOL.
Best Wishes, Brendan.
Somehow YouTube added a second it was 54 before I uploaded it. Yes it’s a nice size and I’m anxious to see how much it extends my growing season on both ends Spring and Fall.
No I don’t mind at all. With the shipping charges it was a little over $1,000.00 and I had to buy the door separate. I was going to build an A-Frame out of corrugated plastic and it was going to cost about the same amount but was much smaller. this is 16X20 feet. The plastic is guaranteed for 4 years most people get 6 or 7 year out of it but the price right now to replace the plastic is less than $100.00.
I’m very pleased with the size 16X20 I have had a small greenhouse for years now but this is so much bigger I have all sorts of projects planned for it.

Hi Dale:
How did you bend the pipe for the hoops or did you buy them already formed.

What a fun way to show your amazing progress. You are going to be able to grow so much in there, it’s huge.
