Could you move that pump to the back? Or does it have to be in the middle.
Incorporate solar panel/wind turbine to run pump?

There is a system called the ECO-Cycle that ECOLIFE (a nonprofit) sells, but it wont let me post the link here. It’s on their website on the home page banner.
It just goes on a 20 gallon fish tank so you can have it inside if you live in an apartment or somewhere with no garden space. The price will go up February 1st 2013 from $195 to $250. It looks really nice too!
Still waiting… I sent photos to BTTR customer service (Jasmine), and she said my kit looked perfectly normal, despite the slow progress. It’s been a week or two since I called, and still no mushrooms… My understanding is as long as the bag is white/tan, things are alive and progressing. BTTR provided some other ideas, like scraping the substrate a bit, poking extra holes, running the bag under water (vs the mister), etc. We shall see…

Aquariums are expensive. Has anyone tried cardboard box, duct tape, and saran wrap?

I have one of those mushroom kits, and I’m ordering the fish kit… Kudos to these guys.
