We had all kinds of livestock and animals on our farm; horses, cows, ‘n bulls. Goats, sheep, etc. But my all time favorites were always our cats, kittens, dogs and puppies. And we have wildbird ‘n songbird feeders to attract the birds which we adore.

I never had a favorite farm animal. The doggone things all required a lot of work, and had annoying idiosyncrasies. I’d as soon confine myself to my cute little four-footed guy who barks now and then.
I am a city girl so it was a real treat when we visited my dads relatives One had a farm, the other ranch land. I always loved pigs and goats the best. My cousins horse was not very nice to me. He might have sensed my fear of him and would not let me on. I rode the donkey.
We had a cow and some chickens. So I guess I’d have to say the cow, we ate the chickens. But, I only tried riding her calf once. Luckily the wood in the fence wasn’t that strong.
Guernsey cows. They are so beautiful. IMO. And give rich milk. I love some of the Beautiful large varieties of chickens too. Although I have a special fondness for Banties as I had them as a child.

any kind of baby animal, chickens, rabbits, etc. Kittens were my favorite, loved to smell their kitten breath.

I liked Zebras and giraffees. I think that even though I didn’t say it they made me feel close to God. Neither was vicious and so unique.

I always liked the cows, because they looked so content and without a care in the world .
In fact, I still envy the cows grazing paecefully out in a pasture, as peace is something I’ve never really been able to achieve . .

Always loved foaling season, and lambing. Both as babies are such a joy to watch.
