Question by Wambam thankya ma’am: Are you aloud to raise turkey in Shoreline, Washington?
We want to raise a turkey and we can’t find anything about what types of pets you can own so I thought maybe someone here would know.

  2. Hi Chelsea…the city of Shoreline will direct you to contact the King County Animal Control to learn if this is legal or not.

Here’s the website and contact info:
    http://www.kingcounty.gov/safety/animalservices/

Contact King County Animal Control at (206) 296-PETS (7387) regarding any animal concerns such as: a dead animal in the road, a barking dog, lost or stolen pets, or animals running loose. Or visiting the Web site at http://www.kingcounty.gov/safety/animalservices/. They can also answer questions about pet licensing. Pet licenses are also available through the Shoreline City Clerk’s Office, Shoreline City Hall, 17544 Midvale Ave. N., (206) 546-5042.
