Question by bambino: are there any good childrens farms in scotland?
i want to take my daughter to see animals but not a zoo,are there any nice places where she can pet sheep,goats etc round about the glasgow area?

  1. Hi there… I found a list of which indicated that petting zoos/farms can be found throughout the U.K. from this website.

    On the map select N. Scotland, S. Scotland and/or various parts of the U.K. and then locations within each region to search in more detail and the age of the kids to narrow down the results further: http://www.dayoutwiththekids.co.uk/index.php

  2. I don’t know about near Glasgow but, Gorgie City Farm in Edinburgh allows you to pet the animals. It has pigs, goat, sheep, cows, chickens, etc.
