There is a system called the ECO-Cycle that ECOLIFE (a nonprofit) sells, but it wont let me post the link here. It’s on their website on the home page banner.
It just goes on a 20 gallon fish tank so you can have it inside if you live in an apartment or somewhere with no garden space. The price will go up February 1st 2013 from $195 to $250. It looks really nice too!

do you need additional filters or are the plants enough to keep things from growing in the tank?
