probably depends on the fish type. some fish are pretty resilient (tilapia for one)
Hey could you post a video or link to some info on that injection system you talked about in the video? That is a really cool idea to use in conjunction with aquaponics but I can’t quite wrap my head around the setup! Great video btw though!

Use a 50 gallon tank with some tilapia. You not only have a great big tank to raise happier fish, but you get chicken sized fish for eating that work great with aquaponic systems.
I posted a whole slew of question about aguaponics on a forum. I did a search and this video came up. You answered all my questions! A bit too involed for the 4’x4′ grow tent in my spare bedroom, but very interesting. The fact that it self regulates for years is fucking amazing. Well done.
What you’re saying is true man, but it is only a symptom of a more sinister agenda that has hijacked our society.
So Rockdust huh? Makes sense to go back to basics, I will try it out. Thanks man and god bless.
He’s making it way too complicated. Just sprinkle a healthy dose of Rockdust on the growbed and then work a few inches into the grow medium. Rockdust is comprised of ALL of the healthy minerals that should be in the soil everywhere assuming we hadn’t f*ucked mother Earth already. You’ll probably have to order it online. It’s not popular because very powerful people that run the fertilizer industry don’t want you to have a purely organic fertilizer that can turbocharge plants without hurting fish
This is an idea that needs work still, but is just as respectable and disregarded, as solar tech. Also the only mizjay plant which was fully showed in a ‘fish reactor’ looked kinda reedy. An update plz??
I have been growing aquaponic vegetables for a while now and I want to start growing cannabis this way. You don’t need any bloom feed. You don’t need anything once the system is self sustaining, only in the beginning do you need to add some seaweed concentrate to boost the plants or a few things to keep the pH at the desirable level (between 6 and 7, adding crushed coral or egg shells will keep it above 6 no matter what). But once the needed bacteria are developed you don’t need anything!
you just glossed over the most important information: WHAT THE FUCK IS YOUR SOLUTION FOR BLOOM FEED? you cant just say organic mixture of potassium&phosphorous the whole point of Aquaponics is for this to be self-sustaining and never having to go buy anything extra.

Have anything for nitrogen fixation and to assist in getting in to the roots? Some are saying that fungi assist well here.

The text slides should go slower as I only read half of it. Good info though. 🙂
