Question by benzene: anyone who uses a 24 hour home solar power system should please help.?
please i need the specifications for the products you use,how many you are using for each product( e.g no of inverters, batteries e.t.c) and for how long.

There is no such thing as a “24 hour home solar power system” as there is nowhere that the sun shines 24 hours a day!
Perhaps you should clarify your question.

go get a magazine like Home Power and you’ll see some ideas as well as advertisements for companies.
you’ll need a solar array, a bank of deep cycle batteries to store the energy, and an inverter to convert the stored DC to AC household current.

There are a number of manuals available that will give you step-by-step instructions for building a home solar power system. The most popular one is called Earth4Energy. I’ve seen these plans and I can tell you they include detailed diagrams to illustrate how all of the parts work together. They also provide tips on how to get the needed components like solar panels on the cheap. Purchasing a system can be expensive, so I think people are turning more and more to do-it-yourself solutions.
