www.allotment-diary.co.uk Just a quick look at the vegetable plot in Winter. Not much growing but all the soil has been dug over and plenty of horse muck and compost added. With all the mild weather so far this Winter the things that are growing like the onions and garlic and brocolli are about 6 weeks ahead of normal. Please check out my veg growing website too at www.allotment-diary.co.uk Or the new Facebook Page at www.facebook.com Cheers,Dan.
This years weather has been a cluster muck hasn’t it. Your hoop tunnels are impressive.

Looking forward to another year of your videos. Will also be trying carrots this year if I can get hold of some barrels.

Good to see you back Dan. I’m copying you this year and starting my leeks in a deep polystyrene tray I got off the local chippy – they get fish in them. Maybe I’ll actually plant the leeks out before September this time. My garlic is flying up too and bulbs popping up everywhere.
Best Wishes, Brendan.

Your plot is looking really tidy and soaking up the horse muck. My tunnel is still half full and I am harvesting as fast as I can making leek and celery soup! Can’t wait to follow your videos again this year,
Happy 2012 Gardening, Catherine.
