  2. it’s so sad to see this beautiful baby creature, and the love the mother has for him/her, and then to hear the vet student refer to them as “food animals.” they say that calves not born in captivity are at risk of being caught by predators for an easy meal, but unless they live on a farm sanctuary, calves born in captivity become meals for humans, or milk machines living in depressing conditions.
