A farm wouldn’t be a farm without the animals Smudge and Squeak will eventually learn to protect. From sheep to chickens to donkeys, there are a lot of helping paws, claws and hooves at P. Allen Smith’s Garden Home Retreat. Actually from a working dog point of view, getting a dog from a certified breeder is a better idea. You need dogs that are bred for being outdoors rather than indoors and if you can see the parents you get a better idea of your future dog’s temperament. If you aren’t going for a dog with a specific purpose outside of being a companion then I agree with you completely.
