Ok, my Cantaloupe are flowering like CRAZY. Looks like they’re flowering more than my Cucumbers!!!! lol…The vines are really short though and ain’t got a single Cantaloupe yet!! Why?? It’s been VERY dry here. No rain in months! Been having to tote water to the Cucumbers, Squash, Watermelons, and Cantaloupe (where the sprinkler don’t reach).

hey i saw this and lot well iv got honey dew seeds and went and planted then my little melon pach if u can call it that its just a 6 by 8 that i tilld i planted four in the ground and ten in the house im really just hoping for a couple of good honey dews well my quitions is it to early to be looking for little sprout in the pach it is a little chilly but its post to warm up

You have some really great, informative videos. I’ve only ever grown some potted herbs & tomatoes in my yard and this year we’re going to try our hand at some real veggies! Thank you! 🙂

I tried to start my honey dew and canteloupe seeds indoors this year but none of them want to sprout. Does it have to be pretty warm for them to germinate?? Everything else from my seeds have gone crazy, just not the melons. Maybe the basement isn’t warm enough. The flourescent light sure isn’t getting the dirt warm.
