can i do this without the honey i’m a hypoglycemic. sugar is bad for me.

Thank you for your question Marcela. It’s best to use very ripe bananas
because they are easy to mash and are very sweet. They are perfect for this
banana bread. Enjoy!

Hi Paul, this recipe calls for baking soda, which will act as a leavening
agent making the bread more fluffy. This recipe does not call for baking
powder, yeast or seperating eggs. Hope this helps. Happy baking 🙂
Hello there, thank you for the recipe. I thought when you said baking soda
you made a mistake and I change the baking soda for fresh baking powder
(fresh yeast) so my bread was not fluffy. that is why? you are not using
baking powder or yeast? My wife told me that she separates the whites and
stir them it´s that necessary? thanks
Thank you for your question. Are you planning on using the liquid form of
Stevia? The substitution is a little tricky. Liquid Stevia is extremely
sweet. It’s recommended that you use only 1/3 teaspoon of it for every 1/4
cup of honey. Because the volume is so different, you would want to make up
the volume by using water or milk. Good luck!
Thanks for your question! The hot water will activate the baking soda
faster and will also ensure the baking soda is evenly distributed
throughout the batter.

Thank you for your question. You would want to use 7/8 cup of regular flour
plus 2 tablespoons of wheat germ for each cup of whole wheat flour in this
recipe. Happy baking!

Why did you dissolve the baking soda in a hot water? I’m not familiar with
this method. Thanks.
