12v solar powered hydroponics & greenhouse that I built over 3 days. It was meant to be cheap and inexpensive but the costs started to add up. Learn how to make your own just like this one. Please comment, this is my first attempt and I’d like to hear any suggestions you have for this.
Ok now you can remove those fucking vegtables and put the pot seeds

@happygameshow Thanks, but was referring to the outside of the net pot, on the lower part.

@fetymann the grow medium seems to do a good job of keeping the light out.

Hey how well do those net pots seal the light at the lower curve of the pipe? I see the net pots are slightly coned shaped so that’ll make a gap at the lower curve of the pipe possibly allowing light in. I’m sure you could caulk around the edge of the pot. Or just use a larger diameter pipe to minimise the gap.

nice set up I like the frame on the hinge idea instead of opening the plastic over and over again. I do think I can beat that price though :).

nice job bud, instead of going all crazy with thermostats, i would recommend doing research into making an ARDUINO or Netduino controlled hydroponics, then you can make it exactly how you like it, with humidity sensers and feed back, and its alot cheaper. good luck to you bud!
