Question by Football fan: How should the average person get rid of a beehive?
I was going to mow the grass today and I see a beehive made on a fence, I didn’t know that was possible. There’s bees swarming around it and I’m afraid that if I turn on the mower or anything loud they’ll get angry and sting me!

Help!

  1. My neighbour had a beehive in their house, which they discovered after coming home from vacation. They used a vacuum cleaner to get rid of all the bees, and then removed the beehive.

  2. If they are honey bees, call around in your area and find a local bee keeper to get them. Do Not kill them, they are disapearing and dieing off for no known reason. If all the honey bees are gone, then we aren’t far behind.

  3. The best way to get rid of a beehive is to tell Grandma its time for her to go home. It works for bird nests, too.
