Question by Tiffany: I have a raised egg sized, honeycomb texture bite, what insect is this?
I can not find any pictures and have no clue what bite me? I was in the desert when it happened. hurt,itched, was really hot and took about a week to disolve.
yeah i self “medicated” and hoped for the best im good now just curious.

  2. Holy Sh*t is right! You say it is resolved now? If not, go get it checked…forget self-diagnosis. I’m not sure if they swell up THAT BIG, but if it is a Brown Recluse spider bite, which swells some shortly after, you could be in for a world of hurt (and missing tissue to the bone). If it just went away, it could possibly have been a simple bee bite or the likes if you are severely allergic.
