Question by Sir Oinksalot: How to heat a 16′ Intex pool without gas or solar power?
I recently got a pool but I am having a hard time finding a small electric pool heater. My wife said when she was a kid they had no tank water heater, so they used an electric water heater that they put in the tub to bathe. Would this small heater be good enough? I have seen some pool heaters that go for 2k-3k, yet my pool only cost 200 dollars lol where are the small heaters sold? ANYONE?

I googled it and here, electric pool heaters are very expensive, like $ 600+
I have an intex pool and I just would boil the kettle and pour about 5 jugs worth into the middle of the pool and it would heat it up a fair bit lol. I did this towards the end of summer, when it was getting a bit cold.

There are other ways to heat your Intex pool for no more than $ 100.00. It may require some work. If you’re handy with tools and don’t mind putting a little work into then this may help. Instead of me writing down all the steps, check out a video I found. Hope that helps. It’s always rewarding when you see the finish product.
