  1. That was what I meant…do you own the land. Very nice….I imagine I would use the food of the land. I saw a documentary once where this woman ate only what the land offered in the area she was in…very powerful.

  2. Why would anyone mind what I do on my land in the jungle?! 🙂 It’s a common thing here on the Big Island to buy land and live on it while it’s being developed. In fact some people, like one of our neighbors, have lived in tent-like structures for years and don’t plan on making any changes! Our house is just about complete and we’ll actually be moving in this week 🙂 I’m pretty stoked! A lot of blood, sweat and tears have gone into this.

  6. Howzit Rachel… Need to pick your brain on how to homestead. where do I start? How did you find your land on Puna. I’m on Kaua’i and been wanting to Homestead for the longest time but due to financial restraints it is taking longer than I expected. Land is so expensive in Hawaii… period 🙁 You’re doing it and I’m Happy for you guys! Thanks for your videos. POSITIVE! Aloha
