Yeah I’m going to be careful with the 3 remaining melons that I have left. One of them should be ready to harvest in another 2-3 days. I did cut out a little piece to eat right after the video and it tasted fantastic! Probably the best cantaloupe that I’ve ever tasted.

I would say you are right. It looks like a watering issue.
It may still be ok to eat if you cut the dry bits out.
