I also have issues with E6000 but it is recommended by so many people. I have tried it on foil back rhinestones and it causes bubbles in the stone. Does anyone have any help for me so this doesnt happen anymore

The big problem with these instructions (been using E6000 for YEARS in making jewelry) you MUST WAIT a full 24 hours after gluing for it to hold properly. Its a wonderful all-purpose and strong glue. Be careful not to “over use” it in the construction process, but do use enough. E6000 can be purchased for a third of the cost at Walmart vs. any other source. Last tube I bought was $2.58 but it’s closer to $ 3.00 now.

I am wondering if I am missing something. I have recently started making the RedNeck Wine Glasses, and I cannot get the E6000 to dry. I have cleaned the glass and even tried using the sand paper like other sites recommend. Then I put on the E6000 and let it sit, then put them together. I have let the glass sit for 24 hours and then the stem will still fall off if you add any pressure to it. When you actually touch the E6000 it is jelly not hard. Do you have any suggestions?

okay so i bought the exact supplies as you, did everything step by step, the candlestick is not sticking to my mason jar, bought a case brand new and used alcohol to clean it and waited for it to dry and applied glue keeps coming off, tried to use e-6000 for gluing ribbon on thats not working either, just bought all supplies today

I thought I did clean them, but maybe I didn’t. I’m going to try again this weekend because I am determined to make some more. Another video said to lightly sandpaper the pieces so I’ll try that too. Thank you for answering back! Loved your video!

did you clean both sides prior to glueing with alcohol? We have not heard of anyones glasses coming apart. The e6000 is the only glue we used.

I did exactly as your video said, but the next day, my two pieces came apart. I used e6000 because I had it already. Is there another kind of glue that you have used that works?
