Question by fashion321: SEX AND THE CITY THEME for 18th BIRTHDAY PARTY?
So I’m planning to have a Sex and the City theme party at my house for my 18th, what suggestions do you guys have? Decorations, drinks, food, centerpiece, music, party favors, etc…?

i suggest…
have everyine wear their best party gear.
have lots of bling… champagne glasses…those big fake diamond looking things lying around…lots of finger foods..posh finger foods though…music really would just be own preference…
but yeah make sure there’s lots of white and silvers and big fake diamonds and necklaces.
thats the best i can do for now… hope i helped a little bit.

Well, definately cosmos if you could. Chinese food with chopsticks, for party favors a small manicure kit with a small bottle of nail polish, the centerpiece….um any hot guy! lol…, and music I’m sure anything would do! Who do you relate with the most on the show? I miss it sooo much! A girlie slumber party would be fun after a night out, with breakfast at a diner to gossip in the morning. Happy Birthday! Why would you base a party on a show about 3 hookers and their mom??? Sounds pretty shallow.

I think you should have……
– Some cocktails/ mixed drinks/ fruit punch
– Some appertizers like cocktail sausages with dip, cheeses and crackers, fruits, etc
– Game: trivia about sex and the city
– Cupcakes with pretty decorations on the cupcake stand for your centerpiece (see example at the link below)
– You could ask the guests to wear something similar to what the characters from the sex and the city worn.
Something like that…I think it’d be neat.

Go to your local party store and look for a city lights scene setter or find posters with the NY city lights scene on them to hang around your house to create a NY feel. Look for tables to rent that you can stand around so you don’t take up to much mingling space. Or create an art gallery with different posters hanging and have your friends come dressed for an urban chic event.
Drinks
Get plastic Martini or wine cups from the party store and put sugar on the rim and fill with punch
Try a pineapple and Sprite mix with green sugar on the rim and a lime or fruit punch with orange on the glass
Ask someone to play the bartender and create a fun non-alcoholic drinks menu
Food
Think about mini appetizers (you can find those at your local Sam’s, Costco, or BJs in the frozen food section)
mini chicken wings with exotic sauces
crab cake puffs
hummus dip with veggies
small wraps
chicken, beef, fruit, or veggie kabobs on fun skewers
