  1. I just discovered you 2 days ago and I can’t get enough. Your videos are slam packed with information and fun. I mostly watch very late at night and the next day my hubby asks me what I was laughing at. Your enthusiasm and sense of humor is so entertaining. Keep up the good work.

  13. I am trying to build my soil as well before I plant, so these are great documentations. I am studying & working at the UOG Agriculture dep. so I can practice sustainable living because I live on an island. We have more an agro forestry industry because of all the tropical trees, but a great variety of unique heirloom veggies too! Anyway much appreciation & respect again, keep pushing organic living!

  14. Hafa Adai John! Thank you for your recognition of Guam, because I am a local resident& student at UOG. I am a regular viewer of your vids & learned alot from your info provided. Currently reading your books that you recommended “Teaming with Microbes” & my mom as well is reading as well. You should come visit Guam one day, many heirloom plants & beautiful people to collaborate/trade with. We just had an Heirloom Symposium for our Marianna Island region, and resourced a permaculturist from Cali.

  16. My opinion only, John is a more advanced gardener, First you have to dig and rake your soil or make and fill raised beds. Then I would add peat, coir, or compost. Pick up a compost tea for fertilizer. Just get something growing. Next season, Id think Id be adding 1 or more of these products John recommends. Also make your own compost and youll have free worm castings.

  18. Hi, I am just starting my garden and no nothing about gardening.(I guess never paid attention to Moms Huh!) I know this sounds crazy but do I have to use all of these products to start my garden. Also, can I use my regular soil in my backyard and add the rock dust to it and received results?
