Question by Sofia B: my dog has eaten alot of chicken and her stomach is really hard?
about a day ago i fed my dog a small bowl of chicken with small pieces of tortilla and chicken broth, after she was through with her bowl my brother kept feeding her chicken. Then her stomach got really hard since then. she hasnt gone to the restroom and im fearing is something more than constipation what can i do?

Are u sure there were no bones inside the chicken ??? I d suggest a visit to the vet, an ultrasound and an xray will help !

What can you do? Take her to a vet! Anytime your dog has a problem. injury, health issue the vet is the best way to go.

She’s probably constipated from the change in diet. Try mixing a few tablespoons of Canned Pumpkin (100% pumpkin, not “Pie Mix”) into her food. If that doesn’t loosen her up, then a trip to the Vet is warranted.

Take her to a vet. worst case senerio could be bloat if she’s a big dog, or a little one.

Do you notice any of these?
–Pacing, retching, salivation, or attempts to vomit with no result
Enlargement of the abdomen (the dog may whine when the belly is pressed)
–Tapping the abdomen produces a sound like a hollow drum
–Lethargy, walking with legs stiff or a hanging head
–Weak pulse and rapid, labored breathing, with pale gums and tongue (this is late-stage bloat, when shock can occur at any time)
It might be that your dog is bloated. An immediate trip to the vet is necessary.
