Horticulture is most commonly understood to be horticulture science, which is defined as the study of plants and their structures. Agriculture is the cultivation of animals, crops, plants, etc. Permaculture is actually a theory and practice in where people attempt to create sustainable living settlements for humans in man made forms or natural forms.
Permaculture is about producing edible landscapes, mirroring the natural ecosystems in their diversity and production. Permaculture is primarily a design system. This is the main difference between it and all other agricultural and horticultural practices. Permaculture designs endeavour to integrate all components of the ecosystem in a holistic approach to sustainable living and practice.
permaculture is related to home site, landscape and cultivation of any crop which is suitable for the system.the crops may come from horticulture of agriculture segment.
Agriculture earlier includes horticulture. Horticulture is agriculture in a form of garden. Now a days fruits, vegetables, flowers, mushrooms etc come under horticulture.
agriculture deals with staple foods like paddy, wheat, potato etc.This is for simple understanding definitions can be taken from Wikipedia.
