Just want to say again that with distillation you produce engine ready petrol. May mix it with some of that 5 dollars a gallon shit. In fact once started accidental fire in cell. Notice I post no picture. LOL.
Five years ago I took in a room mate straight from 12 years up the river. He thought me brewing hooch. Worst thing ever. I am now in 2013 a brewing addict. No room to walk in cellar. The problem is I gave up alcohol 25 years ago. So with fuel at almost dollars a gallon, I put it through still. One part gasoline, remainder home brew Scotch, and I am the only man who can affoard to cruse the Sagatos Parkway on sunday mornings. I wonder why car never runs in straight line.
Dried rasins, not fresh contrain natural yeast. But most people in prison soak bread in warm water and use that mash as the yeast base since bread is alot easier to hoard than raisins.
This is a great recipe! So many hooch/wine attemps are very poor.
This turns out like tasty wine. The rasins realy give it a grape flavour.
I copied the recipe (used mixed fruit concentrate) but had an air trap on the lid and left it to brew for one month.
syphon with a bit of tube or taped up straws. Then it is ready to drink, no freezing or leaving to clear as it is realy clear. Going to brew lots more and will try it with grape juice. top man.
@inigovazquez14 and the rest of the isurfers. Somehow, I’m not able to directly reply to the linked comment by you, so here goes >>> Thanks for your well-founded and constructiive criticism. It’s really helpful and above all very usefull.
Anybody else notice that the harshest critic usually comes from people that have not uploaded any vids themselves?;^D
i did mine with cranberry juice and it took 5 days before it started fermenting/bubbling. it has now been 3-4 days since the bubbling started. when can i drink/bottle my wine because it is still bubbling pretty good.
im wanting to try this with raisins and 100% cranberry juice. has anyone tried it, if so how does it taste? Also you said that there may be some sugar or something that i can use to start the next batch after three weeks of fermenting, does that mean that the sugar left over would make the wine taste really sugary?

Can I make this with just grape juice, sugar and raisins? Is yeast necesary for grape juice, because you didn’t use it?
