Probably your best bet is going to be just getting out the yellow pages and calling the listed vets to see what services they offer. Pick out some pretty standard services and ask for their rates when you call. I’m not too familiar with farm animals, but I would think you could ask about the price of an office visit, home visit, and pick a standard vaccination or two to ask about. You could also try to talk to other people who own goats or similar and get their recommendations. Also talk to the person you’re buying the goat from. The vet I use in Northern Kentucky, Grant Lick’s Veterinary Hospital, does farm animals and I think they’re very good and a little cheaper than many others. However they would be a haul from Cincinnati. Good Luck.

I would talk to the farmers in the area-go to Findlay market or another farmers market that has farmers who make and sell goat cheese-ask them where they are located and who they use for their goats.
The yellow pages will help you find a small animal vet but probably not a large animal vet
Hamilton County Extension should also be helpful.
