Question by luvr_of_horses: What is the best way to kill bugs without harming my horses?
i have two horses and one area of my backyard has a bunch of bugs and bees that really become annoying. i dont care if the grass is killed i would just like it if the bugs would be gone. does anybody know of an effective way to kill them without harming my horses?

  1. Get some diatomaceous earth and put that down it will kill the bugs if they crawl thru it or eat it and will not hurt your horses at all. If your horses are wormy they can eat it and kill their worms. I used to feed it to my horses, dogs and dust my chickens with it for mites. Good stuff, it is cheap at pool supply stores and courser than if you buy it at a garden center.
