You might like How to make cornbread www.youtube.com Cornbread Dressing Recipe * 6 c crumbled cornbread * 8 stalk celery, diced (about 3 cups) * 1 onion, diced (about 1 cup) * 1 clove garlic, minced * 1/2 stick butter (4 T) * 1 t black pepper * 1 c chicken or vegetable broth * Optional ingredients: chopped pecans, diced red bell pepper, crumbled bacon, minced parsley, 1 t sage or thyme. Saute the celery, onion and garlic in 2 tablespoons of the butter about 10 minutes until softened. Combine with the cornbread crumbs, black pepper, and broth (and whatever extra things you want to add). Put all into a greased 9×13″ casserole, melt the remaining butter and pout over the top. Bake at 350F for 20 minutes.

Dressing is the only way to go because it’s crispy on top out of the oven.If you stuff it in your bird it will be all slimy and gross in my experience.I have an aunt who makes the best I’ve ever had.She does it pretty much the same but she adds sage which really adds flavor.I’m not a cook but I would try adding some sage because it makes it awesome!

  6. Yep, you can stuffit in a bird (then it’s called stuffing) or just bake it on the side (in Texas it’s called dressing that way) but it’s the same stuff. It’s real good with gravy all over it!

  22. i made i big feast for everyone at home yesterday, (i made gravy, biscuits, mashed potatoes and meatloaf) but since we didnt have flour, i was forced to use the grain flour stuff that i feed to horses, always see if you have the ingredients first!!! 😀
