Question by Missy: How are you surviving this economic depression?
What types of creative casseroles or potluck meals have you cooked up? My family can use more ideas. I’ve been experimenting with a lot of corn and chicken bakes. We’re having a broccoli and ground turkey casserole this weekend. Thanks for sharing.

  1. I’m surviving on the dollar store alot of people in my small town of about 5,000 people can buy cheap stuff at that place they don’t just sell merchandise.I can go to the bread store and get bread for .50 a loaf.College kids have always eaten ramon noodles (so they can spend the rest on beer, tats and piercings).

I’m suffering from depression so I’m volunteering at the fire station to help people as a firefighter.I just got back from the Church of Christ and spent $ 30 on dinner to help them raise money for victims of domestic abuse to have a place to stay.I sometimes wish a bus could run me over and make it easier on me but they only go 55 and theres no guarantee.

  2. Knowing how to survive this economic depression can keep your family afloat. It does not matter if the economists label it a recession or a depression or something else, this is a tough time for the pocketbook of most Americans. Tightening up your wallet and making smart decisions will get you through these tough times.
