Question by Laura: What kind of allergy tests do doctors do?
My son gets eczema really bad when we gave him regular formula, so we switched to soy and he’s been fine since. We assumed he was allergic to dairy, but we got him tested for allergies and it said he wasn’t allergic to milk. I tried to give him some whole milk recently and he broke out again with eczema. Furthermore, the test said he had a tiny bit of a soybean allergy. Does this make sense to anyone else?

well usually they check your blood.
i know that if you go to specialist clinics, they snip off a bit of your hair and find out that way.

sure, your child has eczema and you’re figuring out the triggers. Sounds like he’s young, maybe less than 1 year old? Our child is allergic to cows milk. You might try using goats milk instead.
