  1. nice video….but I am surprised that you used interior pine wood….we’ve always used pressure treated wood (its safe for gardening, its not manufactured with arsenic anymore)…. those boxes you’re making will be rotten in 5 yrs tops!

  7. I agree with your addressing of the asthetics. It doesn’t have to be pretty as long as it works. From the few videos of yours that I have seen thus far, all of the things you folks do seem to work just fine. Thanks for the really wonderful how-to videos. You folks are remarkable.

  10. You can also use some orange oil, vinegar, water and dish soap to make a natural weed & grass killer.

  13. What is the ration of vinegar and water for killing grass and weeds? a couple of applications with a sprayer would take care of the unwanted grass? thanks.

  16. Great Video! Never use treated lumber! Always use cedar. Treated has chemicals/toxins that will seep into your roots. Keep making vids!

  17. Yes you can poor boiling water on plants to kill them. Works well if you have a larger area to do. You can also spray vinegar on them. It works best on young plants since it only kills the leaves. If the plants are older established ones that you’ll have to spray at least twice, as they start regrowing.
