  1. Guys, making your own home energy does not need to be hard (I used to think it did). I’ll give you some advice right now. Look for a alternative home energy called Xobotano Home Energy (just google it). Seriously, Xobotano Home Energy has save huge amounts of my money. I probably should not even be mentioning it because I do not want a bunch of other folks out there running the same “game” but whatever, I’m in a good mood today so I’ll share the wealth haha.

  2. Hello there! Thanks a lot for this useful video. By the way, I notice many people keep on talking about Xobotano Home Energy (just google it), but I’m not sure if it is good. Have you thought about this alternative home energy known as Xobotano Home Energy? I’ve heard several great things about it.

  4. I am really digging this design, looks great and seems solid as a rock. I can see 4 or 5 of them across my roof. I have a few old golf cart motors. Do you think they would be acceptable as PMA’s if I geared them 4 or 5 to 1?

  5. that sounds really enticing, even tho i like the thoughts of making my own alternator, like you i’m anxious to see this turbine producing something for the time being to satisfy my curiosity lol. so i just might take you up on that offer yet, i’ll let you know soon, thanks a lot!

  7. If ever interested i got a spare F&P washing machine..
I have 2 up and they not produce BIG AMPS but steady amps around 2 to 11..
I`m surrounded by houses and trees..
Anyway,if interested i can send you this motor if you want to pay the shipping…
I want to see you`r turbine making amps..
    Nice to talk to you.

  10. …contention stems from people failing to understand exactly what they’re getting themselves into when it comes to the complexity of wind energy, particularly horizontal axis driven pma’s. i personally don’t find anything misleading about MW&S advertising. however i think i’m going to continue with this project for now and build my own axial flux alternator – magnets aren’t cheap tho – curse China!. once this is up and running then i’ll consider one of Jeff’s turbines…(cont)

  11. lol, yeah, they’re not very bright are they. i really like Jeff’s products, but it’s the fact that he’s sucked into this vortex of ridiculousness that the “hate crew” created on here and inadvertently adding to the drama, that’s holding me back from making a purchase. i’m not impressed with thermodyne at all, not their integrity or what little information they do provide on their ludicrous website. i think, aside from Bob and the rest of his competition, that most of the (…cont)

  12. Hi lad!!
Since the hate crew blocked me,i just want to say that i read you`r last comments and they are more than funny….
The hate crew don`t even take a look at you`r channel to see the craftmanship you got.
I feel so sorry for them try to desperatly survive..No one of the guy talking in Jeff defense is a dealer of MW`S but they are too blind to see that..
I`m hoping they gonna let you alone…Still waiting for you`r next vid..Thanks

  14. thx, yeah it spins great. i plan on building an axial flux alternator for it over the next couple of weeks – in between my work as a building contractor and prepping my own home for winter. hopefully i can find some time to clad the plywood base with aluminum like i did with the side posts and top, before it starts to swell, as you say. the wing supports i don’t have to worry about because they’re covered with 3+ coats of marine polyurethane 🙂

  15. It looks like it spins nice, get a small pma on it and start powering some l.e.d. yard lights. before the plywood starts to swell from water and get weak you may want to consider coating it with epoxy or marine enamel.

  16. @purefusion2 unfortunately not. any plans that i found online cost money. this VAWT is the result of a lot of questions and trial and error. if you want, send me your email address to xXladXx@live.ca, and I’ll send you a free set of my own detailed plans.
