@john hargrave it’s called trial and error. It’s a great way to learn. I’m a beginner hydroponic gardener and loving the experience. I’ve learned a lot from videos but a hand on experience is better

Dude your plants arent growing due to the fact that your system doesnt drain properly…the ebb and flow is supposed to drain back into the pump line with your new walls the water is stuck and stagnant..

yes it worked ok – the lettuce hearts weren’t very solid though :o(

your mold issues would be rectified with light proof plastic to keep light out of your water source.

Nice video and good information, but please, QUIT MOVING THE CAMERA AROUND SO MUCH!!! I was getting motion sick 🙁

you should hang a fluorescent light tube from wal mart above each row there like ten bucks a piece and they sell theses root plugs called redy grow root plugs the roots grow out of them

the algae on the rockwool is caused by light.. i grow in rockwool cubes in expanded clay (same as expanded clay just another name and different price) never had trouble with rockwool.. gonna switch to STG when availible

I use “Phostrogen”, it is really good and very cheap. Do you know it?

you gotta wash your balls first! also soak them in nutrients after washing
