  5. panther chameleons come in all different colour “morphs” depending on the locale they are naturally from in madagascar. they can be red, blue, green, yellow, rainbow and pretty much anything. but one specific chameleon say, a blue one, cannot always turn red, yellow, his pattern or hue might change.
panthers are good chameleons, mine is quite smart. I would say some other cool one are jacksons and parsons chameleons, but you’ll have a hard time finding too many of those.

  12. wo wo WO there, I beg to differ. Only a few species can eat plants, and even if they can most often don’t. Chameleons are insectivores! Also, waxworms and horn worms, any worm is meant to be supplementary in a chameleon’s diet, so don’t worry about feeding them “fatty” worms like wax and horn worms. One more thing, super worms are not a good part of a chameleon’s diet becuase the lizard has a hard time digesting the worms shell.
I’ve never heard of a phoenix worm either…

  13. Wax worms and horn worms are known as fatty worms. Pheonix and Super worms are the most healthiest worms a chameleon can get. Just lettin ya know =P

  14. If your pet store doesnt have any silk or horn worms then see if they have Pheonix Worms or Superworms. They are the top of the line worms. If you cant find any worms try feeding your chameleons fruits and veggies. A salad, the ingredients would consist of: Carrots, Lettuce, Apples and of course some pheonix/super worms to make the salad appealing to your chameleons. If you need anymore food tips just search google for Chameleon Food lol. Have fun wit your chameleons. =P

  15. ok so youtube didn’t post the comment i wrote to you. I’ll give you the abbreviated version… You should feed him earlier in the day, around 12-6.30, that way it gives it time to digest the food. If its only 9-10 months old it might still be a little small, and hornworms are big. also, feed it smaller worms like waxworms and silkworms before you move onto the hornworms. If you just got him, I would just give him some time to get used to you, try and handle him a bit everyday. So good luck!

  17. ok i tried responding earlier, but it didn’t work proper, so here it is again. That is a pain-in-the-ass that your Pet store doesn’t have those worms. BUT i would feed it crickets anyways (make sure to feed the cricketsbefore feeding them to the lizard) If your pet store has wax worms(little white gus) feed it those, mine loves ’em, and they’re good to hand-feed.
** Make sure you get appropriately sized crickets when it’s a baby. the crickets should get bigger as the lizard grows **

  18. I tried responding before , but I don’t thin it worked, so here it is again. I don’t feed him hornworms too often, only as a “treat”. crickets, of course, are the main diet, but along with the hornworms, I feed him wax worms and silk worms as well. He loves wax worms 🙂

  19. ok here’s what I can think of. first of all how old are they? once they are maybe 4-5 months old (ish) separate them into 2 different tanks. Chameleons are territorial and will get stressed and fight. The tank should have no glass or plastic, but mesh sides so air can flow properly. When they are very small feed them he smallest crickets, and as they grow, increase the size of their food. I would suggest giving them worms (wax worms especially) every once in a while. but not too many…

  22. you should be able to get horn worms at the local petstore (if they sell reptiles). If not, its a shitty petstore, so get silk worms if they have them…
