@KrazedKwala Yeah, you have to unzip the file do a google search for winzip, you can use it indefinitely for free. You have to actually extract the world folder from the zip file then rename it and copy it into the minecraft saves folder.

to the chikens: I figured out that floating water can touch falling lava without get to cobblestone. So all u have to do is placing a sign under the trap door, place both lava sources one block higher and destroy the trapdoor. Now the eggs will fall down immediatly while the chickens swim still in the water.

To fix the problem with items getting stuck you could put a sign under the block where they get stuck. Then the items would drop down but the water wouldn’t. The reason you put a sign there is because without it the water would not stream to the sides. Under the sign you could run another stream to your collection point under the pads.
(Saw that someone alreday suggested something similar to this but I thought my idea was a little different so I thought I might as well share it)

to fix the trapped seeds you could run another stream of water under where they get stuck

if you have flowing water with signs under it, then the chickens will go along with the flow and the items will drop through
