Paradise Farms Organic and Learning about Organic Farming

I visited Paradise Farms Organic in Homestead, Florida to learn about organic farming. I learned about growing micro greens, mushrooms and edible flowers. Organic farming is more about the absence of pesticides and more about caring for the land. Paradise Farms Organic also practices biodynamic principles to have a deeper relationship and love for the land. Paradise Farms Organic also has a bed and breakfast, dinner in paradise and brunch in paradise. I was lucky enough to visit the Zen bungalow and try out different organic flowers, herbs and spices. There are special programs that take place at this little slice of paradise, such as urban shamanism on the farm, yoga classes and sweat lodges. www.sproutsavvy.com http

  7. Oooh ~ what a lovely place!
I’ve just spent the last few days spreading loads of organic compost in my garden.
I’d love to be able to grow an avocado tree.
    Thanks for the virtual tour!
    Love & hugs
