Question by syrous: In which State of USA one can grow and have farm for animals such as goat, ship, lam and camel?
I would like to move to USA from Canada and start raising animal business such as goat, ship, lam and camel. I want to know in which states this business is possible.

I would appreciate your suggestions/comments.

  1. You can buy rural farm land in just about any state.

  2. I think as long as you have the necessary permits, you can do it in any state. I know I’ve seen buffalo and llama farms here in Northern Virginia. I would check with the USDA (United States Department of Agriculture) for regulations and requirements for that.
