Question by I love My cavalier king charles: is it bad to feed your chickens dog food?
chickens get into dog kennels and eat tinned and dry food is this bad?

I don’t know. But I know you shouldn’t feed cat food to dogs as apparently cat food is richer than dog food and so it’s bad for dogs’ livers or something. Perhaps each type of pet food is based on their natural ideal diet, so I would say that you should find out what their natural diet is and then also google chicken feed ingredients and compare them with dog food. Who knows?

Chickens in general don’t eat things that are bad for them, they have a natural instinct to eat a balanced diet. But chicken droppings all over the dog kennel can’t be good for the dogs
