Question by stacey b: Are goat farms profitable?
My partner and I have been considering starting a goat farm, in Vermont. We have done lots of research and book reading, and my partner has lots of first hand experience in farming and construction. I wondered if anyone had advice, or knew first hand whether or not a goat farm is will be profitable or barely equal out. Thanks

  1. No. Nobody likes goats in the U.S. Nobody needs goats. In foreign countries maybe. But then you would have to pay for transportation.

  2. if you are able to make from the farm a industry, produce cheese
and sell, and re-invert your profits.and add external products , like wine, and a factory shopp. and of course, publicity.
