I added trace minerals by useing green sand. basicly the same thing.

I would add the calcium just as they begin to flower, to remove some nitrogen as it reacts with calcium and then add some phosphate. This mix is reacting as you speak and the heat generated will kill baterium and mycenes.

It can be stored for a couple years, maybe 3-4 maximum. also, you would mix it in the hole that your putting your plants into.

I think he’s just showing an extreme example of ‘steroid’ tomatoes.. Granted I have very fast growth in just potted soil, I don’t think I would want to see how fast they grow with all that stuff.
I think temperature has the biggest influence on tomato plant growing speed and how well they grow. If I start my tomatoes outside in the 100+ degree heat, the ones that actually make it out of germination will grow *very* slowly.. while the ones I start indoors grow like crazy.

Did you have a video explaining how to use this mix? E.g. Do I put a 1/2 cup in with each plant when I plant it? Or do I add it on top of the ground throughout the planting season? Do I till it into the ground?
Is there a type of store that would handle all these ingredience in one place?
Do you have the list of ingrediences with Brand names of the manufacturer that you used?
I have watched a number of your videos and like what I’ve seen. How does a guy as young as you have this much experience?

Excellent mix I like how you explain everything your using. A thing you might want to add is humic acid. It can be a little bit harder to find and fairly expensive but a little goes a long way. “A valuable soil additive, humic acid improves depleted soil conditions by replacing and compensating for carbon and mineral loss, and by stimulating microbial life and activity. It also increases the effectiveness of fertilizers, which in turn reduces the need for nitrogen supplementation by up to 50%”

I really don’t have an answer for that eveny119. I have heard of fish bones being cremated and turned into a powder so I’m assuming that nutrients must somehow remain behind.

I usually toss in my weber grill because I burn wood/natural charcoal/paper, then I use ashes in garden… do you know if the ashes would still have the same amount of ‘calcium’ from the shells? My potatoes love it.

I dont know if youre serious about recipes cause Rays comment doesnt exist anymore (it says)… any way I dont usually like eggplant except in ‘Ratatouille’, even then I dice it extremely small.

If you add perlite or vermiculite it will lighten up soil, but due to cost I only use with containers.
In the garden, compost is the best thing, loads and loads of it.

This year I made planting bags out of thoselarge heavy duty soil/peat plastic bags. Theres alot of “grow bag ” videos out there. My plants seem to love them, we’ll see if I get potatoes out of them in the fall.(just make sure they drain)

accept tomato tone has tons of filler so corporate companies can charge you through the roof for it and have you come back for more.
