  4. Yes they are! I love my dominique rooster! He was such a good boy and fought off chicken hawks! To bad i had to sell him! Does anyone have any idea why my brown leghorn hen has only layed one egg in her entire life and i got her as a chick last june?!

  8. Yes they are super! Very nice chicken family! Is the roo a golden laced wyandotte? He looked to have the gold lace pattern on his chest, but I only have females in that variety so I was not sure. My Rhode Islands are a bit on the bossy side and my golden laced ones are so submissive. I have 2 silver laced ones and the beat up my roosters…My roosters are Silkies so thats not hard to do. Thanks for posting.

  13. Do you ever get into trouble for your rooster’s COCKADOODLEDOO-ing? We got 10 chicks and one is a rooster, and I am worried we will have to get rid of him.
