Question by dawn822001: How much longer should i feed my baby pygme goat milk from a bottle now that shes eating pellets and hay?
She is about a month and a half and just started nibbeling small bits of hay and feed how much longer does she need the milk i dont want her to lose weight or become unhealthy because i took it away to soon?

  1. Never wean goats before 2 months of age. After that, as soon as they are readily consuming plenty of grain, weaning can begin. You don’t need to rush the weaning process. The longer you leave them on milk, the better they grow. Go easy on the hay until they are eating grain very well. Otherwise they will get hay bellies.
